"Finding God in China" is quite an astounding achievement in exploration cinema. Walker and Riehs take the audience on an educational expedition through religion and culture without using preachy practices.

However, the movie's historical or generational value is perhaps most significant of all. Seeing some of China's most senior citizens describe their unique experiences is fascinating, especially because the filmmakers are not afraid to stop and show the thoughtful emotion on their subjects' faces.  Read more.
